You won't see me looking back
No more tears left to cry
I finally found my voice within
Found the strength to fight
For my dignity and my respect
Something you never give
You expected so much
But couldn't handle half of it
You knock me down so low
Belittle me inside
But i can take accountability
For standing by your side
For so long i took it all in
Stuck in a sick cycle
That maybe you changed
And things would get better
At least thats what i told myself
Always holding onto some hope
When every sign in front of me
Is telling me to let it go
I was so naive
Bypassing all the warnings
Dealt with all the fuss and fighting
Like the emotional physical abuse is normal
You had me down for a moment
Look at me now im back
Stronger than before
I promise you that
I let you hurt me with your words
You Left scars on my heart
I may bend but i won't break
Im so much stronger than before
I refuse to let a man
Put hands on me again
I finally found my worth within
I finally learned to love the woman i am
