In a heart there grew Loneliness and it knew no bounds,
No gallant knight came out to save the unsuspecting victim, so with out so much as a skirmish the battle was won.
Unchecked by the forces of good Loneliness developed a taste for destruction and an insatiable appetite.
It crept out insidiously infecting every last cell of the heart until it met Sadness and they together bred Misery,
And oh what Misery it was, the heart shuddered and shook from it but the war was already done.
Misery spread through out the body like a plague; creating Hopelessness,
They wrecked havoc, corrupting the heart and the mind with darkness, filling the limbs with lethargy, draining the body of will...
And then the four horsemen rode for the soul.
