I see you,
quite in a world that never stops speaking,
hiding your pain behind well-practiced smiles,
holding your breath when you should’ve screamed,
swallowing storms just to keep the peace.
You walk through days like nothing’s heavy,
but I know how much you carry.
You’ve turned silence into survival,
and still
you wonder if you’re enough.
There are words buried inside you
like unsent letters
“I’m tired.”
“I’m scared.”
“I need someone.”
But you never let them out.
You didn’t want to break.
But love
you’ve been breaking quietly
for a long time.
Still, you rise.
Still, you give.
Still, you hold space for everyone else
even when your own feels empty.
I want you to know
you don’t have to hide anymore.
Your softness is not a weakness.
Your story matters
even if it trembles out slowly.
Speak the truth, even if it shakes.
Say your name with pride.
You are not your past,
not your pain,
not anyone’s expectations.
You are a mosaic of strength and sorrow,
and you are still here.
Still breathing.
Still choosing to live.
That is enough.
You are enough.
You always have been.
