I am wonderfully free,
I love no one
And nothing.
But I have a nagging feeling
that free and lonely are
Often placed together
For a reason
And that if you are free,
You are often lonely
But just because you are lonely
Does not mean you are free
And some days this knowledge
Eats away at me
Until mentally,
I am but a pile of bones
I am painfully lonely,
I love nothing
And nothing loves me.
