For this is the birth I never asked for,
I never wanted to be born.
I was told to act or
I would be deformed.
But now left alone,
A run away "Deiform"
Away from hidden toxicity
And into danger.
Facing invalidity
And nothing more than a stranger
In this hell called life
Isolation killing me
While I have to hide
Pretending everything is alright
Hiding my plea.
Nothing is right
And I see no light.
I am either monster nor human
But my soul "shows human" as I show "monster"
As I remain a heretic heathen
With wrath and despair that's beyond ya
Ready to get even.
For this is the birth I never asked for.
At least the danger I can see
To fight back for equality
Life's not fair but I'll make it so
With my flag painted cold lilac
And my march meaning freedom
As I fight for fairness.
Even though I never asked to be born,
Even though this is the birth I never asked for,
I now have a purpose and I'm going to embrace it
With every step I walked alone,
You don't have to see what I turned out to be
This life has left me cold and damned.
Venom on their tongues
They paint it on the walls
Why are they sneering at me?
Truth of life so full of hate and discrimination,
I see who you are, you are my enemy,
Hiding behind a beautiful mask
Society!
I'm screaming at the top of my lungs
It's a mask, it's a lie!
I have become a shell of a child that I used to know
With innocence and laughter hidden in the shadows,
Now I'm hiding in the shadow no more
With no shame
And hate.
You try to break me but I don't care,
My march of freedom continues forever more
And my chant of anger grows ever louder
For I did not ask to be born
But it's who I am
And I'll embrace it!
For this is the birth I never asked for,
A freak who society looks down upon.
A moribund soul unknown
Taking a stand
Refusing to fall
Even in isolation
And a heart turning dark.
Marching to the drums of freedom.
