When justice is punishment for poverty
With the rich walking Scot free?
What is freedom if we are with the right to remain silent
Yet with freedom of speech and expression?
When the poor are persecuted for no reason because justice has eyes?
What is freedom if justice and equality are just words?
If others work
While others get things delivered to them on a silver platter?
What is freedom if the streets and the walls of our own houses are the monsters keeping us awake at night?
if justice and peace are so choosy
In a nation regarded as a rainbow nation
Where freedom is for everyone who cares to enjoy?
