A river flowing free, happy, gurgling, liked.
Overflowing, it is a flood, feared, disliked.
A breeze cooling, driving away the heat, welcomed.
When a tempest, breaking, destructive, hated.
A common man, friendly, loved and respected.
A villainous rouge, abhorred, kept at bay.
River, breeze, man, staying sane within limits,
Limits called laws, laws giving us freedom.
There's no freedom absolute.
One man's freedom's another's headache.
Don't suppose, don't impose, don't ever retaliate,
Do what you want to be done to you,
Not what you don't want to be done to you,
Let others live, free in the law, as you like to, live free.
