shattered shells hold molded eyes
undeserving to subside
bruising blatters thru the stomach line
with liquid ladders, led with
mumbling cry's
he makes his way
the weight he holds
breaks tectonic plates so he
steps on his fait
and
nothing but his hand can shake
across the water
across the lake
across the water
he's tied to weights
