In this world I roam, with so many by my side,
Faces I've met, hearts I've known, but still I feel alone.
For I can be friendly, with a smile and a wave,
But friendship's depth, I can't reach, it always seems to fade.
I offer my hand, with a laugh and a joke,
I listen and care, but my heart remains broke.
For friendship is more, than a smile and a laugh,
It's a bond so strong, a path we both can follow.
In this world I roam, where I can be friendly to many,
But I cannot call them my friend, my heart feels so lonely.
For friends are there, through the thick and the thin,
A bond unbreakable, a love that will win.
So I search and I hope, for that one special friend,
Who'll understand me, till the very end.
Who'll share my joys, and wipe away my tears,
Who'll hold my hand, and conquer my fears.
And until that day, I'll continue to roam,
In this world I call home, where friendship is not unknown.
For I'll keep smiling, and be friendly to all,
And hope that one day, I'll find that special bond, so strong, so tall.
