Friends pick you up when you fall
They support you and be there for you when you need them
They never never leave you because they feel like it
They are the family that you seek refuge to when you've got nobody else
They're your highs and lows
They're the backbone, the beat of your heart, the glitter in your black sky
They're a lot of things
Most importantly, they're loyal, sweet and caring
They tolerate you and they speak the truth
And they always show up, never too late for anything
They put aside their own problems to listen to yours
And if you have any kind of friend like this
Keep them and hold on to them
Those are the kind of people that will be there at your funeral
And consider your family their own
Those are true friends
