Whatever happened to the good old days?
At one time we were so in love, I wish you would have stayed.
You were 34 and I was 38 but age didn't bother us at all.
The only thing separating us was an imaginary wall.
Everyone that saw us together
Thought we would last forever.
We dated for about 2 years but you wanted something more.
So we broke up, and you continued on your journey with a Russian bride that made you poor.
You got married and she gave you another daughter to love.
With 3 daughters, it's enough.
10 years passes by and she wants out of your life.
Divorce is on it's way, she is no longer your wife.
Now after all this is done, you give her almost everything because you are a man.
Living by yourself with shared custody of your daughter but you still call on me because I understand.
Now you at 50 and me 54 years old.
Our friendship was good as gold.
I never stopped being your friend,
But my heart did mend.
16 years later and you are still the same.
16 years broker, but you learned the game.
