From Grief To Hope

A heavy sorrow fills my heart today,

For all I've lost, it's slipped away.

I dreamed of things I couldn't hold,

My hopes and plans, now turning cold.

The weight of loss keeps pulling me down,

No matter how hard I tried, I seem to drown.

But still within me, a spark remains,

To rise again and break all these chains.
