"FUTURE NOW AND THEN"
It was a holiday
That made me remember
The coldest of Decembers nights
It was you,,only you
That took my heart
So unsuspectingly
And suddenly so subtlety
Seductively you stole my soul
The past was our future
As was the future our past,then and now
Taking it secretly,while sleeping
It took so long,to finally get it wrong
But as the time did surely run
We hid amongst the fury of our regrets
Even keeping kisses buried in a silhouette
It's only the sad that makes it so bad
So whilst the spiders sang
And the weeds had grown to vines
I still wept and wept until the roses slept
All the time biding my time
Waiting patiently till the woes of your taste had finally left my mouth
With the hollowness still around me
And loss still twisting in my guts
I've kept another round,still stuck where it was found
Creating the sorrow,you had let me borrow
One moments breath,the bat of a lash
Was all it took to make you laugh
Now your a thought I no longer remember
But still as cold as that night in decenber
