Gardenia

Gardenia
Hidden pearls scatter on her cheeks,
As if the sweat of shyness dripped
White, her face opens to life, smiling
Gardenia, sitting on the throne of beauty, so shining,
And scattering a fragrant perfume around her seat
I visit her in the morning and bid her farewell in the evening
And whenever I inhale her perfume
It's like wine running through my veins, intoxicating ecstasy
So I lighten up and rise high, singing
I wish I hadn't hosted her in my garden, the Queen..
