Gentle rain

He was beaten by a gentle Rain,
And I saw the fears wash away.
The drops paved a new way,
For tears to flow secretly down the drain.
She was beaten by a gentle rain,
Guess it cleansed her skin
And probably mocked her sins,
So she got soaked in disdain.
It was beaten by a gentle rain,
And got cold to feet at first
All it wanted was to quench the thirst
I was glad it splashed water into its domain.
He was beaten by a gentle rain,
A great escape from bleak situations,
For life has eaten up his attention,
So at ease he stands, to at least channel loss into gain.
She was beaten by a gentle rain,
And got reminded of her burning desire,
Needs fulfilment no matter how dire,
Regardless, she has to endure every pain.
It was beaten by a gentle rain,
The lightening turned its skin black,
And it barked in pain and run into the dark,
Believe me or not, its happiness never came back again.
Yet the rain was really gentle I say
And it brought some relief
to others' way
But to others grief.
