I stood atop the San Dias
Ask God where be thee?
Twas then thunder clapped
Alas it wasn't God,
Again I asked God
My God my God where be thee?
Then a fierce wind blew by
Twas not my God,
Again I asked my Lord my God
How many supplications must I make?
Twas then the earth made a loud quake
To may dismay twas not my God,
I sat with a heavy heart
Weeping into my hands
Then a gentle whisper of a breeze pass
Twas then I knew it was my God.
Making my heart quiet
Allowed God to speak to me.
