Get out while you still can he whispered in her ear.
Those chilling words enticing excitement just as much as fear.
Maybe because he said it while holding her so near.
So his message inevitably falls on her selectively deaf ears.
She only paid his words attention when it was what she wanted to hear.
Not that the position he held her in was making it anymore clear.
Both their emotions ran full-speed but neither wanted to steer.
You see he liked it here in the situation he made abstract.
It made all his truth lies while still keeping them facts.
So his warning sent her no sense of urgency to immediately react.
Because like times before she knew he'll beg her to come back.
And just like that she would appear.
Still holding on while hiding all of her broken fears.
Because it simply isn't what he ever wants to hear. His attention became her drug so when she was worn out.
From the abstractness filling her with doubt.
He'd give her enough to get hooked again.
He was the devil dressed as a man.
Who was just pretending to be her friend.
Every time he rubbed her body with his malicious hands.
He knew very well where she stood as a character in his life.
Because she didn't believe his warning it will be her that pays the price.
