Simeon Austin David Pangu
(GPM Day 7/200)
In the garden of Gethsemane,
A man knelt down to pray,
With heavy heart and troubled soul,
He sought to find his way.
The night was dark and still,
The air was filled with fear,
As Jesus faced his fate,
And shed a silent tear.
He knew what lay ahead,
The pain, the scorn, the strife,
Yet still he chose to walk the path,
To give his precious life.
The weight of all our sins,
Pressed down upon his soul,
But in that garden of despair,
He gave us back our whole.
For in that moment of great trial,
He chose to bear our pain,
And in his sacrifice we find,
Our hope and peace again.
Let us bow our heads in awe,
And thank him for his love,
For in the garden of Gethsemane,
He gave us life above.
