Pictures of days gone by
My feelings is a crazy mixture
Of a river that has ran dry
Saw picture with you in it
And you just decided to quit
No warning or hint at all
Fate it's course after the call
I had so many questions in me
Answers that I didn't want
How could you do it to me
Is what I don't understand
You had such a zest for life
Wrists cut with a knife
I felt useless and inadequate
It stopped my heartbeat
It still haunts me to this day
It hurts that you went away
I'm getting by a little better
