She was lost in her thoughts. Everything was so confusing, she was at the verge of giving up. Been chased like a dog from her father's compound all because she got pregnant outside wedlock, which was considered a taboo in her family. She had no where to go, no one to turn to, not even her boyfriend who abandoned her the moment he found out she was carrying his own child.
Her boss had recently fired her. He felt as if she wasn't fit to work in his company. She was now jobless and pregnant. And mark you, these early weeks were really tough. She had to be a regular visitor in the general hospital . she needed to protect the last of her .the gift her boyfriend left her
It wasn't just a walk in the park, everything was difficult having no financial help, she depended on her friends. At some point abortion crossed her mind but she didn't have the guts to do it. Friends offered her money so as to terminate it but she courageously said no and her baby was for keeps. Days went by her tummy was now visible. People judged her but she cared less, she was determined and focused luckily she found a job not paying much but it was something to keep her moving.
Each night , she knelt to the almighty. She told him to give her strength to overcome the difficult situation. She asked for safety and health of the baby growing in her belly. She told God to clear the logs on the way for her . she knew that he was the only one who could help. The most faithful Father never left her, He helped her in everything she did, with his guidance and protection on her own birthday she gave birth to a beautiful set of twins, A bouncing baby boy and beautiful daughter.
Twins in her community meant luck. So there and then she knew that she was lucky. She gave thanks to almighty and decided to do anything possible raise her kids the right way. It was not going to be easy. But her kids and all she had gone through were worth it .
