You take her presence for granted
But someday soon you'll be haunted
She needs you and you're not there
After her sacrifices to love and care
She's given up her beautiful dreams
To attend to your needs and screams
She's basically given up her own life
To shield you from fear and strife
Grateful you've made it somewhere
For she is a mother and she cares
Give her flowers while it's still day
Cause suddenly she'll be going away
Make sure she's always comfortable
There may be many things she hides
So she only showed you the beautiful
You became you're her joy and pride
So treat her with all of your respect
