today is better then the rest
now that ive given up the past,
dont kno why its taken
me so long to not cry
tired of the pain
with nothing left to gain
time went by with
always a gloomy sky
but today is
no longer yesterday
and tomorrow will not
be filled with sorrow
as i let go ill no longer
be dense nor slow
ive given up the pain
to finally become sane
so today is better then the
rest now that ive given up
my sad and hurtful past
