That all the earth worship in adoration
But we were so engrossed in iniquity
And you so much disliked our impurity
We kept on in sin until we were lost
But your son chose to pay the cost
No one in the heavens could save us
But the lamb of God took the fall for us
you didn't spare the son you love
To show us the meaning of true love
He Left his throne
Deserted his home
He shared in our humanity
So to be with him in eternity
He was separated from the father
That the saints he should gather
Like a lamb he was slain
And for us he bore the pain
Right before the beginning of time
You planned to pay for our crime
And save us without collecting a dime.
