It didn't come to me
Thought it was destiny
But I wasn't ready yet
My time wasn't set
I was deeply devastated
I was totally aggravated
Doubtful of who I really was
I thought it won't come to pass
But I had to find the real me
I had to see what God saw
And set so many things free
And deal according to His law
Strangely the anger left
My smile has returned
When I discovered the gift
Of being more matured
God could've given it to me
But I'd have only wasted it
But setbacks is what we need
Till our spiritual eyes can see
