Sipping my favorite coffee
I watch the sun rise
I hear the birds chirping
Up in the trees nearby
Gladness filled my heart
It sings with thanksgiving
For another beautiful day
To me has been given
Beautiful colors flood the horizon
As if saying 'Good morning'
Promising a great new day
For us to keep on going.
