We got together to say goodbye,
Although it wasn't as pleasant as I thought it to be, she started to cry.
I held her hand, through this whole painstakingly ordeal.
She knew this was our last farewell, it was goodbye, for real.
So I held her hand and told her everything will be alright.
She told me that it won't for her because she won't be able to sleep tonight.
I hugged her and said some day you will find your " Mr. right."
She laughed with that pretty chuckle, and said " ya. everything will be alright. "
weeks later, I made it to my new life, in some other town.
Turned on the news and this is what I found.
A young woman took her own life,
She suffered her own sorrowfully strife.
She was found dead in her apartment on the floor beside her bed.
All he remembered was that she won't sleep good tonight, it played in his head.
Could that be his ex girlfriend
Could she have put her own life to an end.
Maybe she really couldn't live without him by her side.
Maybe they should of never said goodbye.
He reached for a Kleenex, and wiped the tears, which he had cried.
To himself, he said he loved her, that much he had confided.
