God gave us an angel in the form of a child
She was so precious and mild
Why God took her away is a mystery to me
A Smile on her face we will never see
Her first word she will never say
Such a shame she will never get to play
The color of her eyes we will never know
Her beautiful curly red hair will never grow
She will never feel pain that is the only good thing
Like the sorrow and pain in my heart her death did bring
The only thing that gets me through the night
Is the fact that I will join her when the time is right
All I can do for now is try to deal with the pain and not cry
The hardest thing to do in this world is to learn to say "good bye"
To be able to go on with my life this is something I must do
