My mom was very sick for the past year.
In and out of her mind and lots of fear.
She was living with alzheimers for a good while which later on turned into dementia
Still she tried to live life with a smile on her face, that's my ma.
Next week would of been her 86th birthday.
But she passed away a week before her special day but still she was okay.
Because letting go meant no more pain.
From.a strong woman who weighed 121lbs went to eighty pounds or less.
Dementia is such a sad mess.
Two days before she passed away, she was placed in palliative care.
The nurses in the hospital were so nice they made her feel loved even though she was withering away and losing her hair.
My mom was so strong til the day she died.
She waited til everyone left the room before she let go, we all.just cried.
Now she is at peace, I know because she had already visited me.
I told her when she passes to give me a sign that she is okay, now she is free.
An hour after she passed away I felt a cold chill across my back and down my arms.
She had come by to see me I'm sure, it was a feeling of safety which brought me alarmed.
I miss her dearly, but I'm happy she isn't suffering anymore.
She was so loved by everyone 😢 now she walks through heavens door.
