government. pigs.

Something about me
That's felt all these feels
Maybe I've seen too much
Maybe I'm too real
Too much honesty for this world to take
So they set me here in front of you
Hoping you could turn me blue
Make me silent
To keep me quiet
To never tell the injustice I've seen
To never tell the world that your full of anger and greed.
Kept me here so I won't speak
and to keep me weak
And what would come up if I spoke my peace
What injustice would the world see
If any
Or nothing at all
You stand too tall
And I fade in your shadow
Lost like the rest, a hopeless voice
No one would attest
This is the life I lead
So hopeless
Yearning for fulfillment
But of what the American dream
Oh no I'm not that naive
I know what comes with it
I can not compare
I'm beyond
I'm a withering hope of a world done lost
My dreams settle in the seams
Of something non existant that you will never see
For I am the child beared from a world not black nor white
But built from the gray areas
To which you so ignore.
