GRANDMA'S TREE

Grandmother used to stare through the window,
Since the date, time and period she was a widow,
Looking acoss her face drew a smile,
Ever noticeable for a while.
The very tree they planted,
Though the slopes were slanted,
Its branches were extensively wide,
But not even a mole would hide.
She would always take a stool when it was so sunny,
And marched to where the tree stood so firmly,
She left the comfort of her home every sunny time,
But when the rain poured she wouldn't waste her time.
In the morning she would peep through to see it,
Claimed the memories it brought were worth every minute,
The tree never fell no leaves,
Even through experience of strong winds.
Day came and the area received a heavy storm,
Panick raised her for it was never a norm,
She went to the window to view the tree,
But the tree had fell and grandma had no plea
The next day was sunny but grandma never left home,
Seemed that the loss had left her dome,
A squirrel dominatedtge trunk boldly with no fear,
Through the window is grandma who always leaves a tear
