He became colder,
As he grew older.
This was tearing the family apart.
She was mad, and sad at the same time but through it all he had her heart.
Sometimes, they were happy and in love.
But there were other times, where what he offered wasn't enough.
When all the money was spent,
Off to the church for food, he went.
Their big adventures was going to a junk yard, to play.
All the children were happy so everything in his mind was okay.
This went on for many months, she started growing tired and weak.
But to tell him how she feels, of that she couldn't speak.
He just kept on taking advantage of whatever or who ever he can.
And for that she would never understand.
She was never raised to be like this.
Her dad worked hard all his life, and for that she missed.
In her home, their was always home cooked meals.
In this home to eat, you must steal.
Sometimes she wondered how she fell in love with a man this broken and cold.
She wondered, but everything seemed to be getting old.
Maybe their age differences were to big, being 20 years apart.
But he always had her heart.
He always found a way to make her think that things will be okay.
He charmed his way, just like his mom did say.
He would of been a big embarrassment to his dad.
Oh how this was so sad.
