Hallow
Parading around for all to see.
Hiding behind the massquerade that she plays.
Make up covering what flaws that may be seen.
Another day of this mask.
Asking to hide.
For her walls are too high for one to see.
What she never dares to say.
Tears to be covered by cover girl every day.
Her heart painted in red covering the cracks that have once been broken.
Her screams smearing in the distant memories.
For she looks upon the mirror only to see what she hides.
Protecting what she has left.
For this life is cruel.
Faking it till she makes it.
That is the game they say.
Only seeing the broken girl that has bled.
Her blood is now what she paints with.
Like mural to create.
It's another story to be told.
Just girl depleated from life.
Stealing what energy she had.
Ripping her voice away.
Teaching it is just the shell that matters, that is all they will see.
While her soul becomes lost.
