Left to feel discouraged and heartbroken,
but your the same one who said you,d never leave me to feel alone.
Now that I know I feel alone,
my time spent alone will forever be the time best spent..
I understand that the problem isn't me,
but the problem is you.
Yes I understand that you gave birth to me,
but God is the one who created me, the one who made.
Even though I am your daughter,
I wasn't good enough to make you want to stay.
You see your not around because,
you never could appreciate me.
Without you being around,
you have no idea what you've done to me mentally or physically.
Mentally I have the knowledge to pick myself up,
make myself the best person I could possibly be.
Stand strong on my own during any given moment,
fight till the very end of any situation that life throws at me.
Physically I stand to be the young African American Queen,
that I know I deserve so very much to be.
If I want something in this world,
I know that i have to work with every last breath in me to get it.
I have the power of staying determined,
and not let a single soul stop me from dream chasing.
Regardless of someone being in my corner,
or being alone.
Not everyone in this world,
are able to withstand my hurt.
I will have the world,
with or without you in my life.
