Hanging on to remorse..

Brittled by this lodging force
Hanging on to remourse.
Every ache in my body digs deeper to my soul.
The deepest feelings of not feeling whole.
Tenaciously awaiting the answers I seek to find.
Right deep inside the membrane of my altered mind.
I look beneath the well of where I lost myself.
Condescending you, to my self doubt.
Shrinking to a smaller part of me
A miscalculating merciless breath I take to be free.
Wherever we end up, I'm all for starting over again.
Love who you make me become because you are my friend.
Crawling inside the darker part of me,
But why can't I just let things be.
I'm always looking for the pot under the rainbow skies.
Building myself up faster in this wonderful disquise.
But who we say we are is usually not who we really are.
Counting clovers and shooting stars.
Firmly embraces who we think we are.
