Our motherland is most beautiful ,
Having Himalaya as her crown,
Adorned by rivers and valleys,
Wearing a lush green gown.
Together and happily stay,
The people of many castes and religions,
Blessed with a wonderful heritage,
Enthusiastically we follow many traditions.
Rewarded by many brave warriors and leaders,
We are blessed with many scholars and sages,
Progressing towards development,
We are adopting many new ideas and changes.
We can satisfy our hunger,
And go wherever we please,
Thanks to the farmers in the fields,
And the soldiers defending the boundaries.
I am really fortunate to be born here,
And with utmost gratitude and esteem I say,
I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN,
