I need to do better,
but I think it’s too late.
I’m trapped in this cycle,
and it’s hard to escape.
I need to do better,
but I think it’s too late.
My thoughts turn to demons—
yeah, they feed off emotion,
ripping me apart,
tearing my heart wide open.
So I close my eyes,
hoping everything fades,
but the silence gets loud,
and it won’t go away.
Now I’m falling again,
down this deep, dark abyss,
got me questioning life
like I don’t even exist.
And it’s leading to habits
I know I should resist,
but the pull is too strong—
man, it tightens its grip.
I keep rolling the dice,
yeah, I gamble with risk,
chasing temporary peace
in a moment like this.
I know it don’t fix it,
but it numbs it enough
just to get through the night
when I feel I’ve had enough.
I’m spiraling out of control,
losing grip on reality,
wanting to be happy—
but I just don’t know how to be.
