Sometimes the hardest thing to do is love,
When you know in your heart what is true,
But no amount of trying ever seems to be enough,
To prevent us from all the things that we do,
Love has always been my closest friend,
Though I haven't always understood it,
Sometimes I didn't know the power it had,
And I get so caught and lost in it, I admit,
Loving for me was never a task though,
No matter how harsh or pure its effect,
The hardest thing about loving to me,
Was never knowing quite what to expect,
I'd like to say that when it really counted,
That I was able to see past all the panic,
But love has driven me insane many times,
Leaving my actions insincere and manic,
I've caused a lot of hurt because of love,
And Its caused a lot of hurt inside of me as well,
Love is a feeling found in tragedy and drama,
But we always try looking for as a fairytale,
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is love,
And saying I love you seems the easiest to do,
I hope someday I finally figure love out just enough,
For me to finally prove that I love you.
