A four hour trip,
To where her parents slept.
He was left,
With the harlot of whom he had prepped.
A week I granted,
Of a quiet louder than god.
The room became my asylum,
With shackles crafted from Psalms.
A night I thought,
I'd leave the voices,
But his gates had opened,
And exposed his choices.
The devil walked out,
With the scent of treason.
As his flames loved my eyes,
My throat choked for reason.
She spoke to me,
With adultery on her breath.
She engraved her intrusion,
And took all I had left.
An offer had risen,
To sell my soul.
To surrender to a lifestyle,
Under the beasts control.
I knew my heart,
Could never again bloom,
She would pollinate my garden,
Forever with impending doom.
