The trees wave at me
Like a lamb before the altar
Shedding their leaves
To the heat of the season
Longing for the glorious rain
Time and season last no longer
As my comfort stare back
Hoping my countenance they understood
Though my skin feel such desperation
But the love of the season can't deny
The cracking up of lips
Like a dry patch ready to be broken
The shivering to the morning dew
The fear of drop of water
Gracing the already insanity in my flesh
Could never be more damming
But yearly the season we long for
What a dilemma of longing.
