40 years back the tower of hell
Top 18th floor corner of block
Where the midgies gathered in a mighty flock
All the windows closed keep them out
But it's so damn hot in here
Imprisoned was the feeling now

But noisy dirty planes by the dozen
On route to the Heathrow runway
Mogden sewage was the worst of all
A nearby water treatment works
