By then the two cried
but their voices were hoarse
and bodies grown lean
the crowd wailed for them
Their eyes shut themselves
and their mouths dumb
their legs creaked
and made them crippled
Then they fell
each breathed the last
and all what was left
skull with no flesh
and flesh with no skin
The skulls seemed a look
at me pleading for my help and I shed
tears of my grief
but the dead body under me awoke.....
