He Is Risen
Black as the grave.
Silent as Saturday.
Only an outline left —
a head bowed, thorns still crowning the dark.
The world remembers the cross,
the nails, the blood, the “it is finished.”
But darkness never gets the last word.
Look closer.
That silhouette isn’t empty.
Light traces the edge of Him —
thorns, hair, the line of a jaw that spoke to storms.
Friday tried to end the story.
The stone tried to hold Him.
Death tried to keep what it couldn’t understand.
But Sunday came.
And the same head that bowed in pain
lifted with power.
The thorns didn’t disappear —
they became proof that love went all the way.
HE IS RISEN.
Not a rumor. Not a wish.
The grave is open. The night is broken.
What was buried now breathes.
What was lost now leads.
So if your life feels like this image —
black, quiet, thorned —
remember: the light starts at the edges first.
He knows what it means to be crowned with pain…
and He also knows what it means to walk out of tombs.
He is risen.
And because He is,
so can you.
