He lost everything
He lost her ring.
He gave up so much, to be her man.
That's something she will never understand.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Not even a miracle, he obtained.
Sometimes life tests you to the brink.
An answer, he did not think.
Grasping at his last fallen star.
Many wishes, where you are.
The one wish he did make,
Was not to get his heart to break.
You didn't understand the way he loves you.
You still don't understand what it is to be true.
He gave you everything including his heart.
But still your tore his ego apart.
