Whatever happened to love at first sight.
Whatever happened on that cold stormy night?
They promised to be here til the bitter end.
They promised a heart to always mend.
Now they lost one another to some other.
Now they will tell their stories to another.
He will never kiss her sweet lips, again.
She will keep on looking for another friend.
The roads they travelled, they went so far.
He lost her, like she lost him, against the rubble, amongst the stars.
Their journey never got where it was supposed to go.
To much baggage, no room to let things grow.
It's to bad he loved her so.
