Trying to forgive
in the midst of pain
open sores on my soul
with salt water rain.
Hoping you see
all I'm trying to do
soften my heart
be vulnerable to you.
Praying away anger
walking through sadness
we were once so peaceful
now life's such a mess.
Lord help us find
where you want us to be
deliver us from evil...
our family needs Mercy.
