I put my heart on a plate and slid it your way. You swallowed it whole like it was a joke. I would give you my last breath, but you'd rather I choke..... On it instead. You said I wouldn't listen, but you never spoke. You said you loved me ,but you walked away. You said you didn't use me ,you didn't mean to ,it wasn't your intention ,but you did it anyway. You said i would never hurt you, but i turned around and the knife was in both your hands. You said you never wanted this to end ,but you made me feel as though I was already dead. You said I need to move on ,but if you have forgotten you swallowed my heart whole..... i cant let go.
