For the past few years the people who I mostly interacted with were minors.
Since entering adulthood my circle of friends has been mainly children
From high schoolers all the way down to elementary school.
I always wondered why kids gravitated towards me so much?
Is it the fact I look much younger, my personality, or is it me being more relateable to them?
God has really kepping my heart like a child while maturing me as an adult.
Children are very open to the world
They don't see race, status, or class
They see the world as an exciting new adventure waiting to be explored.
I tried harding my heart because of the past hurts I dealt with, but the more I do that the more I miss out on the great people God has put in my life.
It just so mind-blowing that so many kids look up to me
Not just look up to me, but even call me thier best-friend.
I just remember a time when I was that shy kid with a disability.
I use to always feel like I was burden to people
because I was clumsy and socially awkward.
I use to dream of one day of having true friends in my life.
I had many people have come in and out of my life but God I know you have true friends waiting for me.
I just need to believe and keep my heart pure like a child.
