What becomes of your being when the organ that pumps blood through your circulatory system is "broken" into pieces and kept as a relic?.
Does the culprit show remorse? Is the agony mutual? Are you the only one sipping from that tall glass of "what could have been" every night while you wail and watch the beautiful transition from night into day?.
That brief moment when joy snaps into thin air and the triggers of the incident set in to transform your mind into a nostalgic playlist should not be wished upon the enemy of your enemy.
Will you ever trust again? Will you ever open certain chapters again or will you angrily cross out the blurb of your life's book?. Why have you given one individual so much power to make you feel feeble?
Wipe the tears, take the blanket off your body, dump the empty tissue boxes in the trash can, put away that pile of candy, delete the old mental memories you keep replaying, stand tall and start a new chapter.
