There's nothing poetic about heartbreak,
There's nothing fun about being shattered into a million tiny pieces by the one you thought could never hurt you,
It's so hard to fall asleep at night when your heart wanders to the one who broke it,
There's no fun in staying up all night just thinking about the times you spent together,
The times you spent talking to her,
All your good memories turns into a bad ones,
All your dreams turn into nightmares,
It doesn't help either when you see your friends about fun with their other half,
You turn into a fucking third wheel at every event and gathering,
Her name only helps trigger the hurt,
And you're back where you started,
Back to square one,
She took the best parts of me and left,
Her saying it was over and goodbye was the worst thing I've ever heard,
She was my happy place,
My escape from reality,
But she just reminded me that the world is a cruel place,
No one ever tells you about the part when the one you loves leaves you and make you feel like shit,
Heartbreak isn't poetic,
It just hurts like hell.
