You and I
Everyday I asked why
It has to be this way
Between us everything was okay
Until at some point back then
When
You many times did offend
Bad signals you did send
So many times we did try
So many times we did cry
I'm hearing the negative things we say
When I see the wrong things I do
To you
While excuses, you so often find
Many times I said; in my mind
That our marriage was of the past
Maybe it just wasn't meant to last
Then I remember when I almost
Concerning us; chose
To make that bad decision
Then suddenly I had a vision
Of the angels reminding me
That I need to remember and see
What brought us together
In a way that was and is forever
I still remember their words in my head
They said
"We made mistakes"
"But when God shakes"
Us back together again
"We can be in love like we were then"
And some how after that vision
Even when I'm tempted to make the decision
To give up
When it gets tough
I still believe
Heavenly love; we will achieve
